Secret Supper Society (SSS) is an experience company established in 2023 by James Crump-Wallace and Miles Gordon. SSS was created to provide unique spaces for people to connect and celebrate culinary creativity.
Secret Supper Society works to curate unique and gratifying dining events. These immersive experiences display creativity, beautifully curated dishes and include programming that makes each event one of a kind. Unorthodox venues for fine dining allow very detailed curation of decor, creating unique atmospheres.

Meet the Founders
James Crump-Wallace is a native of Richmond, Virginia. He is the owner and operator of the creative production space and company, The Spot, located on Broad Street and a serial entrepreneur having created organizations like the Diamond Flea Market, The Original Players Brand, and much more. He is in his first year of his Master of Business Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University.
James has a serious and heartfelt passion for food – often, prioritizing the experience that comes with the consumption of great food over sightseeing while on vacation. A true “plate picture first” pioneer. James began to develop an understanding of food and cooking techniques. He also has a keen eye for detail and a discerning palate. James has become a valuable resource for anyone looking for recommendations on the best places to eat in the City of Richmond. James enjoys creating new ways to explore and capture the Richmond food scene. He also created a video series called “More Please”, with friend and co-host Miles, that will be piloting soon.
Miles Gordon is a native of the Bay Area region of California – born in San Francisco, raised in Oakland. By trade, he is a Government Relations specialist working on issues related to higher education and healthcare. He is also in his last year of his Master of Business Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University.
He moved to Richmond nearly 8 years ago and said the first thing he noticed about Richmond was “this place has unusually good food and dope restaurants”. Miles, like James, is also a foodie and overly obsessed with the Richmond buzzing culinary environment. He is one half of the two person show, “More Please”, a video-series that focuses on the culinary industry, its people and food, and other random adventures. Lastly, he is a washed athlete, but still occasionally enjoys playing basketball and participating in annual Turkey Bowls.
